RHS Wisley

Arrived home from a holiday in Cornwall today to find my pots of spring bulbs have started to bloom which was a welcoming sight. So I thought I’d post this image of the winter border near to the Glasshouse to remind us that  hopefully the last of the frosts are gone, and spring is well and truly here – at last!

With colourful bark and these intricate seed heads
Their berries in yellows, pinks, purples and deep reds.
Just watch as the frost slowly lifts from the heather,
At Wisley it’s splendid, whatever the weather.
