On the Helston Estuary nr Falmouth, CORNWALL

A very pretty, sheltered garden on the banks of the Helford River, at Durgan, which you can walk down to through the garden. Spectacular in spring when the magnolias and rhododendrons are in flower.

Famous for its laurel maze and Giant’s Stride maypole, and if you drive there through Gweek and Constantine, you have lovely wooded and riverside views and even a seal sanctuary to visit (Gweek).
