Rose Portrait: Jubilee Celebration

Jubilee Celebration

Named after Queen Elizabeth II’s Golden Jubilee this rose from David Austin has large, rich salmon-pink flowers with a hint of gold on the underside of the petals. There is a deliciously fruity rose scent with hints of fresh lemon and raspberry.

  1. i love these photos, and it’s especially interesting to me to see these given you are shooting in a different light than me. The colors are wonderful.

    • Thanks Pat. I suppose the light here is VERY different to California, being the cold north, although most of these are probably taken in full sunlight as many are from National Trust gardens that don’t open to the public until 11 a.m. Not the best time of day to photograph flowers 😦
