In the Round Garden

A beautiful eighteenth century scalloped, dolphin fountain surrounded by Russian Sage (Perovskia atriplicifolia) and Purple Coneflower (Echinacea ) can be found in the centre of the Round Garden at Bodnant Garden, North Wales.

  1. I love Bodnant though I haven’t been there for years! Thanks for the memories 🙂

I haven’t been for a while either and I don’t live THAT far away!

      1. We do sometimes get complacent about places nearby! I keep meaning to go to Savill Gardens and never quite get round to it!

I don’t know Savill Gardens – where are they? I never got to Loseley Park Walled Garden or Painshill either in the seven years I lived in Hampshire/Surrey, and went past them millions of times! And there are quite a few in this area that I still have to visit.

        2. It’s up near Virginia Water and Windsor Great Park, so not that far! I’ve not gone to Loseley in years either. If you’re down this way and want to go round any of them give me a shout!

I’m attracted to fountains too! Or bird baths!
Bodnant is a really lovely garden in an amazing location. I will have to post more about this place.
