Winkworth Arboretum

The most impressive displays are in spring, with magnolias, bluebells and azaleas, and autumn, when the colour of the foliage is stunning. Winkworth Arboretum is 2 miles from Godalming in Surrey.

I’m surprised how much colour there still is around, Jude. The days are numbered. 🙂

Went to an arboretum in Herefordshire today Jo, but there wasn’t a lot to photograph. Some colour still, but the mass wasn’t there so not very exciting. Nice walk though through the trees.

They are different types of maples Chrisstov, the gardeners obviously know what they are doing here!
