Dactylorhiza foliosa, common name Madeiran orchid, is a species of flowering plant in the family Orchidaceae, endemic to the Portuguese Island of Madeira in the eastern North Atlantic.

  1. I didn’t pick this for an orchid. Shame! I wasn’t expecting orchids in an English garden. We’ve spotted 25 species of native orchid in the bush close to Australian home – one of my few ID successes!
