An amazing expanse of subdued purple. You have so many wonderful walking places, with such totally different prospects. I’m a bit partial to tracks meandering off into beauty too. Off to find one of my own now, as we move into spring after an icy snap, snow on the mountains to the west.
This common is close to where I used to live and was a good long walk from the flat. There is a story to tell about Hindhead that I will get around to telling one day!
Beautiful colour!
50 shades of purple 🙂
good twist!!
What a heavenly sight!
It was rather glorious! I wasn’t expecting the whole side of the hill to be covered!

I bet that looks incredible in real life. Not often is there a hill of purple!
It does rather take your breath away, but we have a lot of heather-filled moors in the UK so we have this delight every autumn.
It is very beautiful! I don’t think we have heather filled anything. Or moors for that matter. 😉
I think we are very lucky in the UK to have so much diversity in our islands.
Indeed!
