A folly or two

Just a quiet, tranquil space to enjoy the bird song, running water, autumnal light and colours with plenty of benches to sit on and admire the surrounding Herefordshire hills and meadows.

    • That’s because it is the header photo, so you can’t do anything with it. Thanks for liking it though 🙂 We just dropped in to this garden on the way home from having a lovely Sunday lunch in the Herefordshire countryside and decided to walk off a few calories!

  1. A great walk to wake up to on what looks like a grey morning here. I’m intrigued by the orb – can you tell me more? I enjoyed walking through the bog, the butterflies and the blue folly – even that horror of a gargoyle in a shuddery way. Thank you.

    • Rather grey here today too, I thought the sun was going to break through but instead it got greyer! Still dry though. The orb is created using Photoshop Elements – there may be other software packages that allow you to do the same. I’ll have a browse. What editing software do you use, if any?

  2. This is one if the most alluring yet! But I think I say that every day. Just stunning walkways and gargoyles and greenery. I would never leave – dream job – resident caretaker 🙂
