The Water Tower with Gargoyles
Winding paths through the Bog Garden
Cool, shady areas
Butterflies Galore
A folly or two
Just a quiet, tranquil space to enjoy the bird song, running water, autumnal light and colours with plenty of benches to sit on and admire the surrounding Herefordshire hills and meadows.
You will find this unusual garden in the beautiful Welsh Marches close to the ‘Black-and-White’ village of Pembridge.

It’s a privilege to be your friend. Many thanks, Jude 🙂 That first shot is crystal clear and a stunner but I couldn’t comment on it, by the way.
That’s because it is the header photo, so you can’t do anything with it. Thanks for liking it though 🙂 We just dropped in to this garden on the way home from having a lovely Sunday lunch in the Herefordshire countryside and decided to walk off a few calories!
I love its quirkiness, ooh I need a garden visit before that cold thing arrives!
That looks like a great place to visit Jude 🙂
Small, but makes a change from all the floral gardens I have been to recently. Very peaceful.
I like peaceful 🙂
A great walk to wake up to on what looks like a grey morning here. I’m intrigued by the orb – can you tell me more? I enjoyed walking through the bog, the butterflies and the blue folly – even that horror of a gargoyle in a shuddery way. Thank you.
Rather grey here today too, I thought the sun was going to break through but instead it got greyer! Still dry though. The orb is created using Photoshop Elements – there may be other software packages that allow you to do the same. I’ll have a browse. What editing software do you use, if any?
Really only crop and straighten and sometimes darken / lighten from within iPad photos. No software. I’m intrigued by some of your effects.
This is one if the most alluring yet! But I think I say that every day. Just stunning walkways and gargoyles and greenery. I would never leave – dream job – resident caretaker 🙂
I think it may be up for sale soon – the owners are looking for someone to take on the garden.
I promised Hub I wouldn’t make him move again. Now I’m going to have to present it as a long distance commute. “Honey, it’s just a ways over a small pond.”
