  1. I love the sunset view of this tree. It’s gorgeous, Jude. 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

      Finally the fog did lift!

  2. suej says:

Excellent! I think I have only ever seen the Stiperstones in gloomy weather when my parents lived in Shropshire in the ’80s

    1. Heyjude says:

It was incredibly gloomy the entire week we were up there (see the foggy tree) but on our last day the sun shone and we managed to walk up to the stones! I must go back as my photos weren’t great on that day.

      1. suej says:

Gloomy is the default position there, I think, presumably what gave rise to all the superstitions around the place….

        1. Heyjude says:

I shall have to go there on a sunny day – like today really! But I might wait for it to be less bleak…

        2. suej says:

Ah, that area is all about bleak 😉

        3. Heyjude says:

          I feel a post coming on…

        4. suej says:

          From me or you??

  3. My favourite tree so far.

  5. Lucid Gypsy says:

Stiperstones is such an intriguing word 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

I must write a post about this place…

  6. Sue Slaght says:

Astounding with the colors of the sun behind the tree Jude. This may have taken over from the first one as my top pick.

  7. restlessjo says:

I could look at these colours all evening 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

I’m sure you have better things to do 😉

      1. restlessjo says:

Whatever gave you that idea? 🙂 🙂

  8. Dina says:

    Gorgeous! 🙂
