    I know flies are not very nice insects, but just look at that lovely iridescent glow on its back. Beautifully caught Jude.

      Well they are also pollinators so we shouldn’t be too hard on them. And some are quite brilliantly coloured.

          I’d like to get some butterflies but there haven’t been many around this year and as for ladybirds I haven’t seen one! Most peculiar.
