Lavender’s blue, dilly dilly…

Nalinki at Angles and Views has started #flowersoverflowers where we can share our favourite blossoms of the week. It seems like a good idea to spread some blooms across the Internet. I am more than happy to join in.

Such wonderful texture Jude. I could barely keep my hand off the screen for wanting to touch it.

    1. Heyjude says:

      Looks like silk!

  2. Sammy D. says:

This is luscious, jude – i thought of wrapping myself in silk sheets the moment I saw it!

    1. Heyjude says:

It does have that silky look doesn’t it? What about silk PJs?

      1. Sammy D. says:

Never tried those. Might give ’em ago one of these decades 😊

        1. Heyjude says:

Personally I find silk too warm, I’m really a cotton girl 🙂

        2. Sammy D. says:

Good to know. I’m a hottie, too (*wink*) so I’ll stick to cotton!!

        3. Heyjude says:

  6. Gorgeous. What type of flower is this?

    1. Heyjude says:

Sweet pea. Shame I can’t provide you with the scent.

      1. I thought it was a sweet pea but then wondered if it was another similar flower. My father always grows sweet peas in spring. Beautiful colour.

  7. So gorgeous, Jude. 🙂

  8. nowathome says:

So beautiful! It will always remind me of my granny 🙂

  9. restlessjo says:

Another beauty! It’s hardly any time since the sweet peas were flowering in the village up the lane from us. Silk pj’s would be good for lounging. I always fancied myself as a lounge lizard. 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

I don’t get the impression that you DO any lounging Jo. Always on the go. But I can see you in silk 😉

  10. Sherri says:

So delicate, gorgeous colour…lavender, my favourite 🙂

  11. pommepal says:
