Friday Fountain Challenge: June

My next fountain for June is from Sezincote. An unusual example of Neo-Mughal architecture situated in the middle of the English Cotswolds.

Thomas Daniell, famous as a painter of Indian scenery, designed the Indian Bridge and the Indian Temple.

This month she is looking for unusual details on fountains/unusual fountains. I’m sure she would love to see you.

  1. It’s a beautiful and not quite so usual fountain, Jude. I had never heard of Thomas Daniell so I looked him up, I think his work is quite impressive and I especially enjoyed looking at the the painting “Temple, Fountain and Cave in Sezincote Park”.
    Wishing you a lovely weekend,
    Dina & co

    • The fountain looks much more impressive in that painting! Thanks for popping in Dina. I hope all is well with you and the family.

    • It may be a small island (well there are lots of even smaller islands too) but it is crammed with delights and eccentricities! So much that I haven’t discovered yet too.

    • It’s very different to the usual houses and gardens I visit. The elephants are sweet too (in the full post about the garden).
