This playful and useful stone drinking fountain is in Geneva’s Old Town, possibly in or close to Place De La Madeleine.

        • Oh, Sue it is so nice to go out and be able to just take photos without the frustration. I wish I had returned the camera when it first started to give me trouble as it was still very new. Oh, well, lesson learned, and they do seem to have fixed it.

  1. Ooh very nice. Reminds me of a fountain with natural spring water we saw in the South of Spain near the coast. The water was so good and so fresh. It ran continuously and all the locals came with huge empty bottles to fill up and carry home,

  3. Very interesting design for a fountain for sure. It looks like a bath – but I wonder if this one was build before or after modern time bath design was invented. Amazing trip you had Jude!
