  1. Stunning colours and detail – a preview of autumn. When do you leave for Scotland?

    1. restlessjo says:

Jude left today, Meg. Somewhere on the south coast, as far as I remember. We had a ‘real life’ chat yesterday but it was too full of giggles to recall much. 🙂

    2. Heyjude says:

Left! On the east coast right now, by the River Stour – very cloudy, very humid! A long way to go before we reach Scotland!!

Can you post a pic of the whole plant, i have no idea what it is – except that it’s juicy!

    1. Heyjude says:

It is a very small succulent with narrow leaves!

  3. Looks almost good enough to eat, Jude. 😀

  4. restlessjo says:

Clueless about this! It looks waxy and a little bit evil to me. 🙂 No tags or info? Are you securely ensconced for your first night?

    1. Heyjude says:

Just a random succulent – no idea what it is, but cute little flowers – I had another spike emerging when I left home. Hope it survives the neglect! Drive across country not too bad, constant stream of traffic though, where is everyone going to? Wifi iffy in the pub, but comfy bed and good food – can’t say the same about the traffic noise! Had to open windows as SO humid!!! Off to find Beth Chattos gardens today 🙂

Ooh, that will be lovely! 🙂 Beats cleaning at Dad’s which was my gig for the day. Poor camera is going to need a rest when it (he?) comes home.

Over 300 photos yesterday – I must be more discerning! Still waiting for a blue sky!

        2. restlessjo says:

Discerning! A new concept 🙂 🙂 Good luck to David for tomorrow.

        3. Heyjude says:

Had a really nice (posh) dinner tonight with the to-be-marrieds, so I think we are all a lot more relaxed 🙂 Very hot (and humid today, thank goodness this hotel has air con!)

    Beautiful close-ups. Autumn colors.

  6. Beautiful colours and very crisp ! I love this shot !
