Friday Fountain Challenge: October

A quick post from Barcelona with a stately fountain for Poli 🙂

The Cascades are in Parc Ciutadella close to the centre of Barcelona and also home to the zoo. Apologies for the quality of these images but the light was fading and I haven’t time to edit them as there are things to do and things to see and tapas to eat…

If you’d like to join in with the fountain challenge then please pop over to Polianthus for the rules

This month she is looking for stately or ornate fountains. I’m sure she would love to see you.

  1. For a moment there i thought i was seeing Queen Boadicea/Boudica riding in her chariot….. interesting to see the similarity. Stately too; and love the mythical Pegasus. Tapas! Now there’s a reason to skip photo editing.

A pity it was dusk otherwise I might have got better images. And we were getting tired by now having been up since 4 am and walking for around 6 hours!

Sigh… all over too soon I’m afraid. Barcelona has such a buzz about it I can understand why you went back. And thanks for all you help with the planning, everything ran very smoothly and we didn’t waste time dithering about what to do.
