Festival of Leaves: on the ground

It’s time for another year of Festival of Leaves. This is the place to share your love for autumn and rain, for dark evenings and cups of tea, of books and all that you love during this time of the year.

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. Lots of jasmine on the patio now, I am hoping for a quiet and possibly warmish day so I can get out there and cut it right down, it is much too vigorous for the space it is in.

  1. Here I sit on my boat in Johor Bahru, Malaysia having many of my senses stimulated by your imagery. My eyes are leading the way with delight and taking my mind back home to the smell of autumn and the crunching sounds of the leaves as I imagine my feet walking upon them, I miss the four seasons. Thanks for letting me enjoy a moment of autumn here.

  2. I can almost hear them crackle and crinkle them on the ground! Beautiful pictures Jude! xx
    Have a wonderful week!
