Festival of Leaves: fun

Itโ€™s time for another year of Festival of Leaves. This is the place to share your love for autumn and rain, for dark evenings and cups of tea, of books and all that you love during this time of the year.

My granddaughter, Isla (21 months), enjoying the autumn leaves

This is the last week of the autumn challenge so if you have some autumn leaves to share, then please visit Verena’s site and join in. She’ll be very happy to see you.

(Macro Monday will be taking a break for a couple of months )

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

  1. I’ve always wanted a Japanese Maple but can’t find them in the desert. And what a child. Just gorgeous!

      1. No comparison, though maybe in Japan a Joshua tree is highly prized! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Such a sweetie! I love this picture so much, Jude!
