Snowshill Manor is a Cotswold manor house packed with extraordinary treasures collected over a life time by Charles Wade
In addition there is a lovely garden with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. And in one courtyard is this delightful huffing and puffing Green Man fountain.
I think he’d look rather splendid in my garden – I have a stone wall and I have the lichens to go with it!
If you’d like to join in with the fountain challenge then please pop over to Polianthus for the rules
This month is a free for all so if you have a fountain to share I’m sure she would love to see you.
Hi Jude is he huffing and puffing or blowing a raspberry? Just asking…..after last weeks fountain I feel I need to check these things. We might need fountain PG ratings 🙂
After last weeks you could be right!!
I agree. 😀
Yes, Mr. Angry or Mr. Huff and Puff. 🙂 Rather like him though.
Things OK? E me.
Difficult! Will do, after our trip to Leeds tomorrow.
OK. Thought you were going today. I obviously didn’t read the comment correctly. Duh!
he has the most amazing eyebrows!!
Do you think they would notice if you tucked him under your arm as you were leaving?
I suspect he is well and truly fastened to the wall.
he’s adorable . . . . . . seems to have lots of hair coming out of his ears too!
Absolutely right! Send us another post when it is on your wall. 🙂
heehee…
I’ve got a green man but not with a fountain!
This guy reminds me very strongly of a photo I have … but where did I take it?? Oh dear.
Oh dear indeed. I fear my memory is slipping away into an abyss. I know I visited a physic garden, I can see it in my mind’s eye, but can I remember where? I can’t even remember the country except I know it was a hot day!!
Hmm, it being a hot day is not going to help you much in narrowing it down, I fear!
Thought it might have been Taormina on Sicily, but it wasn’t 😦
I’ve been to Taormina! Lovely spot.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this photo was my mother’s expression of ‘complaining until you’re blue in the face’ 🙂
He looks rather bad tempered. Maybe if I had a spout stuck in my mouth, I’d be annoyed too 🙂
Haha… he does rather!
