Becky from “A life of a 40 something” is posting a flower a day throughout September, in the square format. She’d love you to join her.
day two
The centres of these delightful, long-lasting African daisies are often a delight with their unusual colours. Next time you pass some, stop and have a closer look.
Oh wow Jude two days in a row and what a stunner for today.
Just love its intricate centre
One of my favourite flowers. I have an orange and a purple one but as yet no white one. Next year!
I won’t be able to keep up, but I’ll try!
Hee hee….. I struggled to set it up!!
Beautiful capture.
Thank you 🙂
Beautiful capture!
Thanks Janaline. I love this flower.
Exquisite, Jude. Simply beautiful. Wouldn’t this one make a gorgeous brooch!
Sending you sunny greetings from Cley. x
It would too, lovely amethysts in the centre perhaps. Though not many people wear brooches these days.
I like the ‘blueberry’ centre and bleeding out to a lovely magenta against the white petals. Very pretty.
They flower for ages too which is nice.
So true about the subtle gorgeous colors in the center, Jude.
Beautiful! And great little prompt.
They’re very rewarding plants Jude. You’ve got a lot out of your macro lens, it’s very tempting but my plan with the Olympus was always to keep to simple!
Not sure this was with the macro lens, but it was the main reason why I swapped to the Olympus.
I was going to say I have a lovely yellow one on my phone, but when I think about it it’s a dahlia. So much variety in them now, isn’t there? 🙂 🙂
