  1. Nice way to remember your Mum on her birthday, Jude. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ I thought at first glance it was one of your sweetpeas. Gorgeous colouration.
I’ve given up on that plant name. The garden where we saw it run a border planting business but it didn’t appear to be on their website. 😦 And my garrden guru doesn’t know.

      • Am besotted by irises – and through Kew Garden πŸ™‚ went this past spring and when an exhibition of botanical artwork featuring Rosie Sanders work and her most exquisite renderings of irises. I now ‘collect’ iris artwork on Pinterest! So excited to see yours in the ‘flesh’.

        • I love botanical art. I have a huge book of Victorian wild flower paintings all done by a single family – the Clifford sisters and their aunts – in and around their homes in the Cotswolds. Over 300 paintings were found in the attic of Frampton Court where the 4 sisters lived. A fascinating variety of plants many of which grow locally near me.
