I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

    1. Thank you Jane. Close ups of flowers look rather nice in a square frame, I hadn’t realised that I did this until participating in Becky’s Square September ‘challenge’..

    1. They will hopefully spread themselves all over my dwarf Cornish wall, if they survive the s&s attacks. I thought they would as they grow well in the hedgerows, but maybe my garden is too much of an s&s smorgasbord!

    1. They grow wild on the walls down here very close to the sea, so I am hoping that they will like my garden wall too as long as they are left alone long enough to get established! Feeling very tired today, but probably not as tired as they will be!! Thanks for the hugs 🙂

        1. I didn’t do that much gardening! But maybe too much on top of the illness. Contemplating washing some windows now, or will that be too much? Don’t want to look scruffy for the visitors.

        2. Well I got most of them done then went and knocked over a chilli plant which caused a domino effect on the rest of the chillies, so then I had to clean the floor all over again and now I have a bad back… getting older sucks!!

let's get chatting...
