day 20
I love trumpet flowers . . .I had an amazing one but eventually grew too big for the pot and so I let it go.
This was outdoors, but in a sheltered spot. I’m not sure how hardy it is.
Mine hated frost . . .but perhaps its in a micro-climate?
Not much frost down here, and this has a high wall to shelter it so I suspect that helps.
Great! Another one I have never heard of
You may have seen the creamy ones at Wisley.
Oh, OK
Inside the glasshouse 🙂
Hmm….a good while since I visited
Beautiful! Await your next share.
Oooh, that looks so fresh and bright. It looks almost edible! 🙂
so pretty and what a wonderful shape!!
It is a lovely flute shape isn’t it.
This square thing is producing some beauties! Florally, and compositionally. I want everything square now!
I do like flowers in a square, but not sure you can have everything 😀
ooh, I’ve never seen a red one! I remember my parents had a white-pink one, struggling to reach even shoulder height, and how amazed I was to see house-sized versions in the wild in Africa.
This is quite a tall one too. Quite striking.
And scented?
I didn’t notice any scent.
Oooh, gorgeous! 🙂 🙂 I’m falling behind 😦
You’re always falling 😁
I got one or two nice photos yesterday just need to edit them.
