What a beauty !
He stayed around for ages! But I haven’t seen many butterflies this year and then mostly Red Admirals.

Beautiful! I always love seeing bees or butterflies on flowers. The contrast between the two is perfect here.
This one stayed still for so long – enough for me to go back into the house and get the camera! He was obviously enjoying the chocolate 🙂
Where do butterflies go in winter? Was it still because it’s on its last days? 😦
Some hibernate I believe, others migrate, some die of course. I haven’t seen many this year.
I wonder if the pollen and nectar do have different smells and tastes for Butterflies?!
I suppose they must have hence the different types of honey produced.
Duh!!! Why didn’t I think of that!
