A new addition to the Tree Series to welcome in the New Year – wishing everyone a happy, healthy and stress free year ahead.
For the next couple of months Macro Monday will be replaced by my Tree Series – trees that mainly showcase their structure in the months without foliage.
Trees in full leaf at beautiful but there is something magical about seeing their delicate structure during winter.
And Happy New Year to you!
Happy New Year! I enjoy trees in winter, too. Some of ours don’t lose their leaves, but the ones that do often are quite pleasing. I’m looking forward to seeing yours.
Happy New Year to you too Linda. I do have trees with leaves, but for the next couple of months they will be of the winter variety 🙂
I like your new look Jude, very stylish, if a bit confusing for dozy me 🙂
Takes a bit of getting used to, but new year, new style, at least for this blog 🙂 You been away Gilly? Had a good Christmas?
Yes it was okay, not away, just lots of visitors and work two days between Christmas and New Year.
I actually used to like working then as it was very quiet and I could get a lot done.
Stress-free sounds good! Thank you. And so do trees without foliage. And ankles without pain.
Yes, I really need to sort out that last one.
Heligan, the lost garden, it looks beautiful. I’m looking forward to this series Jude. I also like your new look
Thanks PP. “A change is as good as a rest.”
ooh my Mum will love this – she kept commenting again and again when we were at Hillier’s Arboretum how wonderful the trees were in their naked glory.
I’ll put together a post on Heligan by night too. Some interesting, almost modern art, forms created by the lights on the trees and leaves.
Very pretty! Reminds me, I still have the Botanic Gardens at Lumiere to post. So little time, so many places! 🙂 🙂
