This makes me think of a tapestry – so many textures. Lovely.

What lush colours in this photo Jude.

    1. Heyjude says:

Seems to be a popular tree this one 🙂

  7. I love this one, Jude. The background colours are gorgeous and really show off this lovely tree.

    1. Heyjude says:

Nice to have the bracken to brighten up the scene.

A tree with character! And the backdrop is wondrous. Did you make it to your winter garden, Jude? 🙂 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

Not today unfortunately. It turned out not to be sunny at all and very cold. But I am still hopeful for this week.

      1. restlessjo says:

We are forecast only 12C today but full sunshine so no complaints. I’ll be doing the Almond Blossom trail up in the hills with the group. 🙂 🙂

        1. Heyjude says:

12C and sunny is good. Do you get much wind over there? Here the wind can be as much of an issue as the rain. Still, it has been raining all over the country this winter so it seems, not just here. A sprig of almond blossom would look nice in a vase 🙂

        2. restlessjo says:

We do get a fresh wind sometimes and it was chilly up in the hills but the blossom was glorious. Pity I didn’t read this earlier- I didn’t think to pinch a sprig. 🙂 🙂 Came back down to the coast about 3 and sat in a sunny spot at Cacela Velha for an hour or so, talking to some birders. I can now exhibit some knowledge to Becky on Thursday. 🙂

        3. Heyjude says:

Snow, sleet, rain, hail, wind… and temperatures barely above freezing! I did get some blogging gone though 😀

Such vibrant colours in the background
