That’s an interesting shape in the foreground, Jude. Ace of Clubs, or some such? 🙂 🙂

Hey, don’t ask me. I don’t go around pruning the trees in Wisley 😉
Maybe someone fancied having a go at cloud pruning.

Just focus on the BIG one!

  2. Beautiful tree captrure! I like the comntrast between the green and the huge leafless tree

I enjoy watching the bare trees this time of year while anxiously looking for the first sign of their leafing. The beautiful sky is more visible, too.

Interesting branch shapes are revealed when they bare all in winter.

    1. Heyjude says:

Yes, you see the structure of the tree. And of course the beauty when the leaves start to bud again.

Should be having leaves appear any time soon and we will see spring arrive in your tree series

I was very surprised to see how late leaves appear on trees when I was doing the monthly challenge from Ludlow. I think it was as late as May. I have found some pretty little furry buds on my willow though today so I shall take the camera around the garden tomorrow.

You must be plased that spring is just around the corner

        3. Heyjude says:

Indeed. Be nice to see more sun and less rain too. Been a very wet winter this year.

          And cold 💦💨
