Gorgeously liquid enhanced.
Raindrops, dewdrops, fog. You just have to accept that sometimes they actually improve things. ๐
Beautiful photos, Jude.
I do rather like tulips ๐
You have captured magic moments Jude
I just had to go back inside and grab the camera when I saw all the droplets on these tulips PP. If I hadn’t been going out I would have gone for the macro lens and spent more time with them.
Some things just beg to be photographed
Stunning colours !!
I love the brights, but maybe next year I will try some alternatives.
Yes, I understand. Its interesting to try different colours and arrangements! Lovely to see your photos!
Thank you.
Beautiful
Thanks Roda.
Hard to choose between them, they’re all gorgeous but magenta is a favourite colour of mine!
I go for the orange, copper, red and dark purple varieties. Purple Dream turned out more violet, but still pretty and had flowered for ages, just on its death throes now. Next year I am going to try white, yellow and green with more of the very dark ones.
Oooh, lovely, Jude! ๐ ๐ I’m always spellbound by droplets on flowers. Sea fret is fine as a novelty, once in a while, but you do seem to be getting your share lately. I remember one day at the beach trying to capture the sea through the mists. Don’t think it was a huge success. ๐
I had a go on the beach too, but not impressed. Interesting to see the heads of people and not the rest of their bodies. I think it is because the air is warm but the sea is still cold and colder than usual at this time of year.
Great shots. We were in North Cornwall yesterday and experienced the coastal fog. But thereโs always an upside. It looked very atmospheric around Tintagel too, I wish weโd had time to stop.
Beautiful captures.
Thank you Irene.
Beautiful, especially the magenta one. Wishing you some drier weather soon (though I have very much enjoyed these photos).
Been dry half the week! In fact so dry I have had to water the plants in pots!
๐คจ guess I should have specified how dry.
… and your photography pulls out those sparkly bits beautifully!
Aw, thank you Jo.
Seems to have been a fabulous spring for tulips even here where we don’t get coastal fogs.
The heat killed off a few very quickly I believe. I still have half a dozen flowering at the front, but all the rest have finished.
oh ours seem to last ages this year, maybe it was warmer in the west?
I think you guys got the really hot weather. Maybe your tulips are better established, or in the shade?
hmmm . . . .not sure. I did water them lots and lots as noticed they closed up better at night when I did.
