      Oh, yes, a lot deeper. Almost inky when it first opens and they flower for weeks!

      Aren’t they just? I have never grown these before but they were so easy. I shall grow more next year.

  4. What a beautiful colour! We haven’t been successful with anemones but this makes me feel we should try again. πŸ™‚

      Soak them for 24 hours before planting.

      So different to the usual spring colours! I love these bulbs and will definitely plant more for next year.

      Yes, it is very rich and these have been flowering since February so very rewarding bulbs.
