Flowers on Friday

Now it is the time for the Azaleas and Rhododendrons to take centre stage although this one has suffered a bit from the cold winds and rain over the weekend.

  1. Beautiful, Jude. Your flowery season is well underway now.

Yes! One thing after another since mid January, keeps on getting better. 😀

But you have a wonderful forecast for the weekend? Decided where to go yet? It bounced and thundered a lot of yesterday but the blue sparkle’s back today. I have a rather nice Orchid tree on Instagram but I didn’t have my camera on me. We’d just gone out for a breath of air between cloudbursts and watching Rafa in Monte Carlo. 🙂 🙂 Happy Easter, Jude!

The weather is indeed lovely, but we won’t be going far. Plenty for me to do in the garden where I will avoid the crowds 😊

    Aaah, lovely!

Using the prime lens as it was a very windy day, I love the DOF this lens creates, thanks to you for introducing me to this lens 😊

      1. Sue says:

Yay, I’m so pleased you like it – the DOF and the bokeh are a joy!

    Beautiful shot Jude. 😀

  5. Amazing!
The best way to celebrate a wonderful Easter 🙂

I love them, but they are a nuisance aren’t they.

    1. Heyjude says:

A nuisance? Home safely? I hope it is not too windy for you 🙂

Thinking of the problems Wales & Cumbria are having on some hills/mountains, and all the big gardens who are also revisiting the extent of their rhododendron patches.

Inside day to day so enjoying watching the trees in the wind!

        1. Heyjude says:

Ah, yes. Some of the larger rhodos have been removed from gardens here too. I prefer the azaleas anyway 🙂

        2. BeckyB says:

So do I, much more elegant!
