If you want to join in with celebrating the colours of autumn then take part in the Festival of Leaves 2019 hosted by Dawn Miller.

I have lived in the UK for most of my life, but when young I definitely had wanderlust and even ended up living in South Africa for several years which was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to a long and leisurely retirement doing what I like most - gardening, photography, walking and travelling.

      1. ME? Don’t be silly! I went quite wild yesterday and bought some Christmas tree lights for 5€. We can’t carry much back in hand luggage and the little fella doesn’t really need much. Lisa gets money and James gives us a list… eventually… but we will probably get him to buy the stuff or it will have to be delivered to their address. There isn’t really anyone else to buy for. Just reams of cards 🙂 Poured today! Walk cancelled but a convivial lunch. Sunshine tomorrow.

        1. We stopped buying for adults, so they don’t have to worry about buying for us. It’s not as if we need anything. And we don’t send cards either, we donate the cost of a Christmas dinner to a charity and email friends and family.

let's get chatting...
