A Week of Flowers: Day Five

For a second year Cathy of Words and Herbs is hosting a Week of Flowers, inviting everyone to share some “extra colour and cheer” by posting one flowery photo a day, for a week.

Hydrangea (November 17 2021)

A great excuse for me to post some of the recent colour found in the sub-tropical gardens close to home.

  1. Lovely photo especially with the contrast of the hydrangea and the strappy leafy number next to it. Very nice tones in the flower too, I like browns to temper pinks.

  2. Beautiful colours! I love the way hydrangea flowers age. It’s a bit dry for them here, but we had a lovely blue/purple one in Scotland.
