For a second year Cathy of Words and Herbs is hosting a Week of Flowers, inviting everyone to share some “extra colour and cheer” by posting one flowery photo a day, for a week.
A great excuse for me to post some of the recent colour found in the sub-tropical gardens close to home.
Lovely photo especially with the contrast of the hydrangea and the strappy leafy number next to it. Very nice tones in the flower too, I like browns to temper pinks.
I love it! Still beautiful!
Those colours are beautiful, with the autumn foliage adding to the effect. 😃
Beautiful colours! I love the way hydrangea flowers age. It’s a bit dry for them here, but we had a lovely blue/purple one in Scotland.
Hydrangeas always make such a pretty display at all stages. Ours are looking amazing after all the rain.
How lovely
Hydrangeas age with grace, don’t they! Lovely.
Except for mine which seems to go from pretty to pretty awful quite quickly!
I thought it was just mine!
