  1. Magnificent detail, and I like love the colour scheme. I’ll settle for calling it liveforever!

    Lovely job, Jude!

    1. Heyjude says:

Such a tiny flower it is easy to miss it despite the unique composition and colour.

Ooo, lovely, lovely, lovely! 🙂 Have you used an effect on this?

    1. Heyjude says:

Nope. Just the 60mm macro lens. It is much sharper than my other camera.

  6. Tish Farrell says:

These remind of Venetian glass paper weights – exquisite detail – like coral.

  7. Lucid Gypsy says:

Aren’t they gorgeous, subtle little beauties? So easy to miss if you’re not observant. You’ve done a great job!

Thank you Gilly, I thought you’d recognise this one 🙂 Mine has finished flowering now but I have had a month of pleasure from it.

      1. Lucid Gypsy says:

Yep, mine too, but they’ll be back. I’m waiting to see what your mystery plants are, have you identified them now? 🙂

        1. Heyjude says:

I think so. I’ll post a photo and see if you agree with me 🙂 How’s the weather your way? Very damp here all day 😦

      2. Lucid Gypsy says:

The rain hardly stopped yesterday and today isn’t looking good so far 😦 I really don’t know why it can’t just rain for an appropriate amount every night, do you?

        1. Heyjude says:

Night-time rain would be most acceptable 🙂

  8. So beautiful, Jude! 🙂

    1. Heyjude says:

      They are little jewels 🙂

  9. I’m pretty sure I would manage to kill Sempervivum :). Jude, I love the capture with pronounced tiny hairs and soft background.

    1. Heyjude says:

Thanks Paula, the macro lens can produce some amazingly clear shots. They are tough little plants, but hate being too wet so it is possible to kill them!
